How Industrial Measurement and Instrumentation Systems Work is an independent educational site about how industrial measurements are created, transported, checked and used.
What we focus on
Rather than publish dozens of nearly identical “sensor basics” articles, the site is organized around a small set of durable concepts: sensing principles, signal paths, calibration, uncertainty, process-variable technologies and instrumentation documentation.
What we do not do
We do not provide site-specific calibration procedures, hazardous-process work instructions, electrical work guidance or safety-system settings. Those belong to approved procedures, manufacturers and qualified personnel.
